About Us

TrueSpec Systems was born at the request of our online learners who were taking courses in Logic, Cubase and Cakewalk. With this global audience, we found a great need to have custom systems built to the true specifications that enabled the major music software production programs to work as advertised. Hence the name with a promise, TrueSpec.

Because we're composers, we work with these programs daily and are only all too clear as to the operational and system integration issues. This is why we take great care in testing software and system integration issues to make sure that what you order works the first time, right out of the box.

Building a digital audio workstation, on one hand, is very simple. Just order the parts and build. But the secret to building a successful DAW that works first time/every time, is understand the system integration issues for each music software and how that affects everything from setup to which component parts to use, or not use. As a result, custom DAWs are more expensive than off-the-shelf systems.

We service many composers in Australia, Hong Kong, London, Los Angeles, Nashville, New York City, literally across the globe. To better service our colleagues, we've added a complete music technology, a general music bookstore, and other items for a well rounded, fun, shopping experience.

With our relocation to Virginia, California composers no longer have to be concerned with CA sales tax or filing paperwork to get film/TV sales tax breaks.

To build our systems, we've selected ADK Pro Audio who not only builds the systems for us, but also provides an enhanced level of customer support. With ADK's Kentucky location (outside of Cincinnati), we're able to offer sharper pricing, a full range of product, and lower tech bench fees.
